Saturday morning. Slept in!

I'm 23 weeks pregnant today!

I got up this morning and realized it was 9 o'clock! omg, i usualy get up at like 7 cuz i'm a 60 year old soul! But i guess all my "hard work" yesterday made me tired haha i helped out cleaning at my parents new house. I think even as a pregnant person i should be able to do some house work without having to sleep for 11 hours lol Yes, i go to bed at 10! haha

Today- Skype with my beloved husband at noon, pack up a bed and some blankets for tonights sleepover at the new house then some more packing of my stuff. After i leave the 5th of May my parents are gonna install all the new kitchen stuff, new stove, fridge, freezer and dish washer. And when that's done they're moving in. And when i get back the 31st of May the house i grew up in isn't ours anymore :( 
Since i live with them right now i need to get all my stuff to the new place before i leave for Canada!
Oh, and we're slepping over at the house cuz of Valborg. Kind of a spring celebation with a big bonfire in Trogsta. The village they are moving to.

I have a big problem! I lost my sun glasses! (again) I think they might be anywhere in this county..so the likelihood of me getting them back are slim i would say :( But if you have them..GIVE'EM BACK!

Saw bits of the Royal Wedding yesterday! omg, was Kate Middleton ever pretty! If Brian and I get married again (haha) i want a dress like hers!

So today is one of those days when i probably should stay away from all people cuz of my cranky mood! I'm just not feeling it today :/ hormones or whatever it is..it's not fun!
But i went in to town anyways and got some brown cotton stretch fabric for the baby sling i'm gonna make myself! a new one is like 800sek and it's the easiest design ever so why not make it myself, right?! My cousin had the "real deal" so i just copyed her's on a big piece of paper. Have to get the sewing machine from Trogsta back here and start working!

I also figured it was time to do the most boring and depressing thing ever...buy a new bra. maybe some people think this is the most fun ever! NOT when your preggers and your girls just grew two cup sizes in a month! But i got it done and oh well...
don't go to H&M for bras if your girls are bigger, i'm just saying. not a good idea..the staff don't have any knowledge on the subject. Lindex was the place to go today!

Hanging out with Julia later on...we were planing on going for a walk but ice cream infront of the tv sounded so much better haha

Pampers baby box

Today i picked up my free baby box from Pampers at the baby/toy store, babyproffsen. I got this huge box with a diaper genie and 12 new bord size diapers and other stuff. mostly advertising stuff from different baby brands. but the diapers are good to have! The "diaper genie" is some sort of diaper bin for used diapers that have super expensive refillable bags to buy separate. so that was kind of an unnessacery gift. if anyone feels like they want one anyways..just let me know! it's yours!

Also went to the gym for aerobic class. The pants i was wearing this time were too big so they kept falling off haha and i had to spend more energi on keeping them in place than working out haha they will probably fit me later on i'm sure!

Brian booked my ticket to canada this morning!! I'll leave the 5th and come back the 31st! it's gonna be so much fun and feel so good to have some real family time with him and the belly! Miss him soo soo much!

Now, shower then bed i guess. have been super tired today!

Last day of easter

Good beautiful morning!!

Felt lonely to wake up in a quit house. I'm so used to having people around all the time now. But some time to my self is good too. wish i could have Brian here tho to wake up beside and have breakfast with!

I'm on this recycle-and-think-about-how-much-money-i-stend-train haha So i've desided that all or most of the baby's clothes that I buy will be bought second hand! Here in town a lady started about a year ago a store with quality baby clothes second hand! I wrote about that before too i remember. And in Canada there's a big chain called Once upon a child that sell used baby clothes.
So a few days ago i when in to the one here in town and i got three pair of little mini pants for 100sek! When i showed them to my mom she was convinced they were brand new! The lady that owns the store only accept good quality clothes in good condition. And omg was the lady even nice! the most helpful store owner i've met!! Loved it! i'll be back there soon for some little tiny onesies!
Before i buy too much I'm going to visit my dad's cousins, who all have kids that are over the baby stage, for some hand me downs! no baby clothes are getting past me!!

summer's here?

It's unbelievable the weather we've had this weekend! 23 degrees C and not a cloud in the sky!
I got up this morning and went with my parents out to the house, in my "pyjamas" looking like a hippie! haha spent all day in the sun doing next to nothing. i'm really not a big helper around the house when the weather is this nice :)

Have had two busy weeks belive it or not. Charlotta was home from London and we've been up to something every day it feels like. Sushi night at Radjo's with Ida and Charlotta followed by 24/7 hangouts with the latter.

But to the interesting things! The baby is kicking more and more! i even felt it on the outside of my belly with my hand!!! It was such an awesome feeling! luckely i was talking to Brian on skype right when it happened! So we sort of experienced it toghether. Can't wait to go see Brian and have some real family time being married and pregnant together. It feels strange and sad sometimes starting a family together but away for eachother. But sooooooon i'll be there with him!
I told my grandma that the baby is more active at night with the kicking and she said it'll be one of the none sleeping babies. But i told her i'll trick it with the time change from sweden to canada!  haha

I'll book the ticket to go see Brian and everyone else on tuesday! for three weeks hopefully!! can't wait!!

I'm home alone tonight..my parents are staying over night at the new house. not even the dog is home...feels a bit lonely. But i'm off to work in the morning so i'll just have to get through the night. which isn't gonna be a problem! i'm so tired from all the sun i got today!
Now i'm just waiting for Brian to get to his grandparents house for easter dinner so i can say hi to him on skype! i just talk to the rest of the family that's already there! wish i could be there too!! He's been working at the race track all day today, my hard working husband!!! aaaaaw baby! :) Miss him!

i'll get better with the updates now when i'm back to not doing more than work haha

Perfect start on the weekend!

Havn't been this excited for a bit now haha Yesterdays step class was amazing and today i'm going to see Charile and her sister before work. And tomrrow right after work i'm meeting up with Ida for a walk around Lillfjärden and then coffee!! and it dosn't end there..no, than it's time for more häng with Charlotta! (Charlies name is really Charlotta, but english speakers seem so have a problem saying it? haha so Charlie it is!)
omg these coming weeks are going to brighten my spring for sure! And hopefully in the end of the month i can book my ticket to Canada! Can't wait to see my Brian!!!

So the gym worked out well! I just found out that i have "exercise benefits" form work. i'm employed on a 50% of full time bacis, and that meens i get 1500sek a year towards a gym membership or other exercise! woho! Friskis & Svettis, i'm loving it!
Have to get some t-shirts tho haha i felt like a hippo when i was "dancing" around in class lol I want one if the shirts that says bebis on the belly! Would be so cute!

Finally!

I finally went to the gym last night! after months of no working out..and  i used to be the gym girl! it's sad! But last night i decided it was time haha Went to Friskis (a gym/aerobic classes) It was great! even tho i felt like i was working out in somebody elses body. Didn't have that bounce in my step like i used to haha and i couldn't lie on my stomach in the strength part of the class. But it was FUN FUN FUN!
Got home and had strawberries and a piece of bread while watching "En unge i minuten" the best baby show ever! a reality show about a labor and delivery unit in sweden. Then bed!

Talked to Brian this morning. Poor baby has to get up at 5am to talk to me before work. 11am my time. Miss him sooo soo much! Hope to go see him in May!!! Then he'll come here in August when it's time for baby to be born. Not fun being just married and than not be able to live in the same country!

I went for an hour walk with the dog too this morning. The weather isn't as nice as yesterday but it still felt good to get out. walked by Charlie's mom's house. Charlie is the best friend in the whole wide world!! :) And she's coming home for a visit on Thursday! i'm so excited to see her! We moved to Ireland together and when i moved to Canada she moved to London, England for university. Miss her so much! But for the coming weeks we'll have some quality stupid time! We always come up with the greatest ideas ever! (read "the stupidest and most ridiculous ideas ever") like opening our own business when we're 21 in a country we've never been too and we really think it's a great idea and that it'll be the easiest thing we've ever done! good thing is that we usualy get bored after planing for weeks and never actually finish what we've started planing.

baked cookies in lack of anything else to do as well. Små kakor, that conveniently enough translates to small cookies. tastes like sugar cookies kind of. half with jam and the other half with sugar and cinnamon. nice to snack on..every time i walk in to the kitchen!

Now i'm going out to see grandma..i'm starting to become a retired old lady myself! walking the dog, baking cookies and going to see my 70 year old best girl friend lo lthis is great! haha

hard work and a birthday cake

I haven't been writing the last few days...that's only because nothing fun has happened haha
I worked a long shift, 24 hours from saturday till saturday. Got home and made my dad's birthday cake rightaway. Recipe from Leila Lindholm's book a piece of cake. such a good cookbook!

Here's the Sunday lunch/birthday celebration in pictures. I'm more efficient with the camera then the key board. And i know it's more fun to look at pictures than read a novel about my weekend!

Today I got a big parcel in the mail form Brian's mom Wendy! Baby clothes and other nice things! Super Cute! Thanks alot Wendy!!!  Nothing else going on today really, gonna try to get going to the gym later on. Miss it so much, but for some reason i just keep puting it off. havn't felt the greatest with a cold and stuff but i just can't put it off any longer now!  

Hope some super awsome exciting things happens to me soon so i have something to write about! Don't expect much haha

Hejdå!

Ultra sound and another sunny day!

Went for my second ultra sound this morning and my new due date is the 27th of august. I guess i got the dates wrong when i figured out when i had my last period. First i had the 11th as my due date but we'll have to wait a few more weeks in august for the baby. Can always hope it'll come early! That's also why my belly had been looking pretty small. oh well, it'll come out sooner or later any ways, that's for sure! I didn't see the baby as clear as last time. but it was kicking and moving like it should! sooo cute!

After the ultra sound i went for a walk around Lillfjärden, a pond in the center or town. The weather was amazing and i had to have an ice cream in the sun after. it was just too nice out to not have one lol
Had alot of time to do nothing still so i went out to see Grandma! Got a sandwich and tea for lunch. We sat in the sun for hours chatting and solving crossword puzzles.

I work tonigth from 8pm til 10am tomorrow morning. Not too exciting.

Tuesday

Today was my dad's birthday. And he celebrated the big day by leaving early for work to drop my tires of at the shop, going to work and than straight to the new house to meet up with the electrician. I'll probably be in bed when he gets home lol I did call him on his fika break this morning to say happy birthday!
There will be a more thorough celebration on sunday in the Mumin hus, gazebo. (and a mumin hus is absolutly not a correct translation of gazebo for thoes who is trying to learn swedish) and for thoes who is trying to learn english, don't always trust my spelling!

I worked at a preschool today..skolbyn. six year olds are usuly not my cup of tea but they where pretty well behaved haha my kids are not gonna have a picnic in the park growing up with me as there mom. maybe Brian will take on the more relaxed approach...or not...haha poor kids!

Tomorrow i'm going for a second ultra sound! can't wait!! usully they only let you have one but the baby seemed to be a bit small for it's age (19 weeks) so thay wanned a second one in week 21. I'm not very big myself so that's probably why. I don't feel worried at all.
I'll write more about that tomorrow.

Had a great day with Julia! Tried the new Myran's café, they had the biggest and tastiest cinnamon buns ever! And the second hand baby clothing store that we checked out was awesome! I'll go back there for sure! Didn't get anything yet..i'll wait til we know if it's an alice or william/charlie :) so that will have to wait until august.

Spring is in the air! it's after 6pm and the sun is still really warm! Love it!

The weekend

Friday was a great mom and daughter day! We went to IKEA and Birsta city, a mall right next to ikea. I had decided to get as much of  my maturnaty clothes shopping done for the spring and so i did!
I got, a pair of black jean-looking pants, black yoga pants, two shirts one pink and one blue and white striped. Two regular tanktops A sweater to go with the yoga pants and also a black bag and a necklace that dubbles as a watch. and a pair of spring shoes!! yey! thoes last things i explained to Brian, are very  important when you're pregnant! haha all the clothes i got from H&M and the accessories from Gina Tricot. Shoes from Din Sko.

They confirmed at the ultra sound, we're having a giraffe baby!



The IKEA plan didn't work out for mom. They have to get all new cupboards or paint the ones that are already there. The washroom is coming along really nice at the new house tho. It's down to the bare ground!
Mom and dad are there every day to drop of boxes and work on everything that needs work...which is everything!

Saturday i went to get my hair done at Ida's! A close friend and the best hairdresser ever! Madde was there too and we got beautified  and gossiped for a few hours. Went for lunch at Delsbo pizzeria! :)
After some girl time i went out to check up on mom and dad at the house. Tons of people there for cofffee!

Sunday i worked and that was about it.

Today i'll spend with Julia! We're gonna check out this baby clothing store in town and FIKA! for canadians who don't know the concept of fika it is:
