Last weeks update

It's not that easy to find time for the blog i've noticed this past week. Even tho Alice is a pretty good sleeper there's always something that i need to do...or not do. trying to rest and nap when Alice is napping when i can.

Anyways..last week,

Alice got a Swedish passport made. It will be in on wednesday. And she also got her picture taken for her Canadian passport. We sent all the paper work out for her and it will be done in about 3 to 4 weeks.

My grandma, uncle and aunt was here on the weekend for my mom's birthday. And to see Alice of course! Very nice to see them! Alice loves the Polarn o Pyret vindfleeceoverall and hat. And the very cute outfit from my cousin! And on sunday my other uncle and his family came over for some quality baby time. They gave Alice a super cute checkered dress, our little country girl! :) soooo many nice gifts! Thanks everyone!

Alice tryed the baby sling that we borrowed from a neighbour. She liked it and slept for a good hour in it while Brian and I baked apple pie for my mom!

Another not so fun thing that's been going on this weekend was the initial symptoms of blocked milk ducts (mjölkstockning) Fever, headache, a sore breast and an upset little girl that i think had a sore stomach on top of all that. poor thing!

Now we're gonna give Alice a bath and then we're off to bvc for weight check up!

Good morning!

We've been singing Pippi Långstrump and other favorites all morning! And of course eating and sleeping are two big favorites in Alice little morning routine ;)

Getting bigger!

Mammas lilla ärta is getting bigger, up 400g and 2 cm longer! The bvc nurse was impressed and so were mamma and dad :)
Can't belive she could fit in my belly just 9 days ago.
I'll post a picture tomorrow! She's been given so many cute outfits from friends that stoped by last week! Thanks everyone! LOVE THEM!

Now, bed time. Alice is sleeping and will probably wake up for food in an hour or so. She's been really good, eating at around 11pm, 3am and 6am. I can not complain at all.

She is here!

On saturday September 3 at 22.02 she was born! Our beautiful daughter Alice Victoria Doris Beninger. And she is perfect! Tons of dark hair (where ever that came from :) 3074g and 49cm.
Everything went really well and after i'm done being sore in various places i'll do it again in a heart beat!!!

We've had a few wonderful, emotional, excting, tiering, absolutly fabulous days at home as new parents now and we love it! I'm crying happy tears every other minute and i just can't belive that we made something so precious!

I'm going to shop for some cutie patootie stuff for a little sweet pea from Idenor today! :)
Brian's at school and off at 11.30. We're hopefully having coffee with Sofia after that before she goes back to university tomorrow. She forgot her cell phone in Spain tho so i'm not sure how to confirm our plans.
