Tomorrow!

Brian's coming tomorrow!!! i know i've been going on about this for a bit now haha but i'm just so excited! I'll pick him up from the train tomorrow afternoon/night depending on what train he gets on from the airport.

I work tonight, and that's almost good cuz then i won't have too much time to think about how much i want it to be tomorrow!

It's coming to an end!

These five months are finaly coming to an end! The five months Brian and I have spent apart...can't belive that we're almost there! He'll be here on saturday. That's only five days away. I will have the love of my life back to hug and hold hands with as much as i want, in only five days! And we can finaly be pregnant together! :) Like a real family! I'm happier then i've been in a long time! Even tho i think every day how happy and lucky i am to have him, even when he's on the other side of the world.

Contractions..

I'm getting more and more contractions..like pre labour contractions or whatever they might be called (förvärkar) I think...since this is my first baby it's so hard to know how all this should feel. I have five weeks left before i'm due but i feel contractions almost everyday. i've heared that that's normal but i still feel a bit nervous to if it will come early. I'm more than fine with that but not earlier then next saturday! Cuz that's when Brian get's here! For the next baby i'm not leaving Brian's side ever haha!
Well...if anyone has any ideas or edvice they are more then welcome!

Rainy day...

Mom and I got some shopping done today...it makes me so tired to shop now! Met people we know everywhere, I think we did more talking then anything.

I got the shopping for nursing bras done! Feels like a relief to have that over with! Not a big fan of trying on bras. Found two at Lindex. A black and a white. And a tank top as well. Good to have on when we're just home...i think, since i've never done this before :)
My mom got a onseie for the baby to wear when we leave the hospital! From Lindex too. It's so hard to find cute clothes that are gender neutral! It's either extremly plain white or boring. So my mom said she'll go get all the cute things we saw today as soon as we know if it's a boy or girl. Yey!

A speciall little husband's birthday was a few days ago and there might have been some shopping for gifts done today too...you never know..  :)

Vacation!

Olala i have a week off work! It feels absolutely fabulous!
I've had some issues with an extremly sore tail bone (for some reason?) So the fact that i don't have to work 24h in a row 2-3 days a week for this upcoming week is good news for my back!

And another asbolutely amazing thing is that Brian's is coming in exactly 2 weeks today! It's going to be such a big relief to have in close! don't have to worry and think "what if the baby come early" and all that stress.
By the way, my midwife said yesterday that the baby is in possition now and is just waiting for the delivery to start! But she also said that it doesn't mean that it will come early at all. I might still be over due by 2 weeks. After two weeks i think they would induce me. Hopefully NOT! I wouldn't mind if the baby came about a week early! :)

Now, skype date with my love and then out to a girl friends cottage with Sofia Larsson!

it's getting closer!

22 days til my dear husband returns!! The count down is on! Can't wait to have him close everyday! And i can't belive we've soon done 5 months away from each other..it's crazy to think that we're almost there! I'm so proud of us..it hasn't been easy but we did it! For the baby!

And it's getting closer to the baby's due date as well! that is also HUGE! I'm starting to feel like it's time for the little one to come out soon! I havn't had much to complain about during this pregnancy, but my back is staring to feel it now! And i'm so excited to meet him or her! I was thinking about all the holidays ahead. They are all going to be so much better and more fun now when we have the baby there with us!

Going to work soon. I work 75 hours this week...good think i don't do that very often! But it's only 3 shifts and that sounds alot less! have to think of it that way!

Dear baby, If you feel like it, would you come out soon? Maybe in say...6 weeks instead of 8? We just really want to meet you!

I got this adorable knitted body suit from Kappahl today! for the baby of course! It is really from my grandma. She wanted me to get something that i would like instead of her getting something i might not like as much. I'm sure i would have loved whatever she'd given us but i really did want this little suit so that was perfect!

Now, i think i'm going to buy myself a new back on eBay! sadly mine is broken...i shouldn't complain...but i do it anyways!

Summer!

Summer's back!
Today has been a warm and relaxing day! I wish Brian was here so we could go swiming in the lake! one more month to go before he gets here! My love! miss him soooo much!!!

Me-time!

This midsummer weekend is almost over and i can't say it was too eventful. I worked from yesterday morning at 10am til noon today. 26 hours with double pay. not too bad! that's the good thing with working holidays..and since Brian's not here right now and the weather being extremely boring..i'm more than fine with that.

Today has been a Me-day! Even tho almost everyday i guess is like that. But today felt extra ME and not boring at all! i watched six episodes of sex and the city and did my nails! (which was much needed) haha and i'm just about to watch a few more before i go to bed. Love it!

omg, i forgot how much i love Hallomi cheese! everyone who hasn't tried it, DO! grill it and eat it just like it is! i think it's abit trickyer to find in canada then sweden but i know i've seen it there too! at the Super Store, i'm pretty sure!

Miss handicraft...

I started sewing that baby sling a bought fabric for months ago today...don't really know how it turned out haha i guess we'll see when the baby is here to try it. not sure if it's always good to be "miss save money"? maybe i'm just miss cheap haha but the sling looks ok..i think i'm a bit self critical too tho.

Parent group today...it's the last time which is too bad! it's been fun! And after that i'm meeting up with my cousin and her two boys for some baby talk and play time in the park! Hope the weather holdes up...it looks like it might rain again today. this swedish summer hasn't been too exciting so far. Hopefully July'll be warmer!

The little kitten Findus moved in last week! So freaking cute!!! We've never had a cat before but i think we've got it right. He's outside exploring right now! He got lost (we lost him) for a few hours yesterday haha and panic was close! But he came back and he didn't seem to think it was a big deal at all! We should probably treat him more like a cat that a baby? haha

I'm 30 weeks + 5 days along now and i'm staring to feel it more! my back get sore from sitting, from walking and from lieing down lol noo...it's not that bad. But i definitely feel it more!! hope these 10 weeks that we have left goes by quick-ish! i still love being pregnant!

oh, had a lovely evening with the Delsbo girls last night! Elin, Ida and Madde! MYYYS!

Busy friday!

Today will be a fun and busy day! i'm extremly sick of quiet days right now!!! have had too many..
yesterday i worked in the afternoon and before that i had lunch with Annika. Very fun!
Today we (baby and I) have a midwife appointment at 8.30 and after that some time to kill at home but then, we're picking up a little kitten!!! Findus! Just cuz my dad is like Pettsson, a childrens book characture that lives on a farm with he's cat Findus..that he talkt to and everyone thinks he's crazy haha just like my dad! :)
At 3.30 i'm getting my hair done Hos Ida. Finally! i should have done it before i went to canada but...i'm way too late with booking appointments everytime i need one...soooo i had to wait! after the beautification we're having dinner at Ida's with lots of girl talk and gossip! weee!

morning walk- check!

We just got in from a morning walk, Bella and I. Everything is so pretty in the morning! It's not raining today but it's overcast and just a bit cool. The fog lie over the mountain top and it looks just like something out of a faity tale!
We met a girl who was out waking with her 2 month old daughter in her stroller. We talked for a bit and she lives just around the corner. She invited me for a visit one day. Super nice girl! Good to know the younger crowed here too! haha mostly i just see my parents friends that are in their 50's.

Now i'm just waiting to talk to Brian on skype before he goes to work. He's going to some kind of course today outside of Toronto so the poor thing has to get up at 4.20am or something :( He's working hard, my man! Love you baby!

Later today i'll keep working on the other house here on my parents farm, that's gonna me mine and Brian's summer house! Or anyone else that's coming to visit of course! Yesterday i got the beds in place and the cradle that's been in out family for at least 5 generations. My grate grandfather had it and he was born 1903. It was probably used before that too! Feels really special to keep it for our baby aswell!

I got the stroller today!!!
But it wasn't as easy as that haha, after i went to the store to get more time on my cell phone my car, the famous Audi 80 -89 died on me right before i turned on the high way. So i had to call my mom who was in a meeting at work to see if she could pick me up. should also was that it was pouring rain outside all day! She got a minute free at work and got me. I drove her back to work and kept going to pick up my precious stroller! haha but i got there, paid for it and... IT'S MINE! i have been walking aroud the kitchen all day with it! it's so easy to steer and really light and easy to pack up! LOVE IT! I hope the baby will love it too! :) I made it all nice with the Winnie the Pooh blankets Allison and Kalyn got for me at the shower. Can't wait to let the baby try it!

On the weekend my mom and I went to Leksand to celebrate my cousin Beatrice who graduated high school, which is a big deal in sweden! And that's the one thing that makes it feel like summer is really here! Everything was great, the sun was shining and i got to see both my aunt and her family and my uncle and his wife came up from Stockholm, and lots of other people!

I'm feeling good still. But it's starting to get heavier on my back. i've gained about 9 or 10 kg and it's all mostly in the belly area. And i'm not sure but i think i've started having some morning sickness and heartburn, but i don't know. might just be my stomach that's not feeling it right now. haha too much food on the weekend maybe :)

BabyTravel Amsterdam

I found a stroller that might be the right one!

BabyTravel Amsterdam it's called. It's 2010's mode and it was on clearance for a much better price!! woho! so i put it on hold for monday. They only had one left so i thought, This is it! haha Mom and I are stopping at Barnens Hus on our way home from Leksand on saturday and i'll have a good look at what they have before i decide. Really i wanned an Urban Jungle, but since that one isn't really in our price range right now i have to settle for something a bit less expensive. and this one looks and feels almost the same as the UJ.

It comes with the stroller and the basinette attachment for the baby to lie in the first 9 month or so. I've been looking everywhere in canada for the basinette strollers but people don't seem to care if there baby sits like a banana in a car seat all day and get's a sore little back from it. so i guess i'll have to buy it here in sweden and bring it back with us.

The basinette is black, like this one, and attaches on to the stroller when you take the seat off.

I'm pretty excited! weeeee! 

This will be a tough summer!

I think someone told me that being pregnant in the summer is pretty warm and unbearable..i thought they were over exaggerating. Turned out they weren't. Oh my lord...i worked a full day at daycare today and for some reason i guess it's good for kids to be outside? well...let's just say that it would have been nicer to stay inside!
I had to stay home from stroller shopping and hanging out with Julia, i was sooo tired! i'm still tired! haha and i'm working full time in July...Ah whatever!

didn't do much after work then...had to go pick up my Sex and the city box set at our old neighbor's cuz i had said i was going to. They are leaving for the states tomorrow morning! Their son is there for a school exchange. They will have so much fun! Have a great trip, if you're reading!!!!!!!
And when i got home i sat on my bum and watched tv!

Now i'm ready for bed.

Oh, tomorrow is my first time in the "new parents class"! And i'm going to look for a stroller before that. I'm not buying anything..I just have to figure out what i want. and then find something that has everything i want. I've always been picky with things...it's good to be rich when you're picky..too bad i'm not!

Svenska flaggans dag

Today's Sweden day, or the sweden flag day i guess they call it.

Right now i'm making banana bread to bring to my brothers God daughter (is it even called that?) anyways, he is this girls god father. We're going over for a visit! she's 6 months and i just have to have some baby time soon! can't wait to have my own little baby babes to hug and cuddle!!!

Brian got home late last night from work (in canada) so i couldn't talk to him before bed. and man, was i ever worried he'd been in a car accident or something omg! i'm getting so freaking worried over everything now. think it has to do with the pregnancy. My brother just got a motor bike and i'm so worried about him too! i really don't wanna be this way! it's just silly!!!

Gotta go hang the laundry. I get stains on my shirts everytime i use them now cuz my belly is in the way haha every day i have a big stain on my tummy. looks funny and i don't have any clean shirts! hope they are dry before i have to leave the house!

On hold

I'm just sitting here being on hold on the phone with my midwife's office..think i've been sitting for about 20 minutes now. but i don't have anywere to be anyways haha
oh, now they took my call!
Have an appointment June 3rd. yey! get to hear the baby's heartbeat again! And the week after the new parent class starts. Or really it starts June 1st but i'll be coming in from canada that say so i'll miss that class..My good friend Julia offered to come with me to the class since Brian is still in Canada. But we'll have a longer meeting with the midwife when he get's there in August to go through all of the stuff we talked about in class.

So tomorrow is the last day of Family time. I'm soooo not happy about it!!! wish i could stay longer but i have to get back to work and Brian needs to keep working for about 2 more months too before he can come to Sweden. And then it's only a month until the baby is here! I'm getting more and more excited everyday! it's getting to feel more real now, when the belly is bigger and i can feel the kicking and movment all day almost!

The weekend was great! Friday Brian's granma Elaine and I went shopping in St Catharines. Found great sales at two Maternaty clotheing stores so i got three mat-shirts and a nursing top. Awsome stuff! Pink and light pink, needed some colour for the summer!!!  And i got a dress from Walmart for my cousins graduation. A long maxi dress..woho! a bit outside the box for me! :) Have seen so many celebrities in maxi dresses when they're pregnant and it looks so good on them, so i thought i might try it! haha have to hem it a bit tho, since i'm about 30 cm shorter then any celebrity lol
Later that night Lesley came down form Waterloo for the night. She came with gifts for baby! ;) she works at Old Navy so she got some adorable Canada Day shirts for next year and the year after that lol and a few other things! Thank you soooo much Aunt Les! 

Saturday, Brian's mom had put on a big bbq in Port Colborne with all the family, and some friends too, on her side. Super fun to see everyone! Thanks Wendy!!!

Tonight is our last night as i said. So after Brian's done work we'll go for dinner at Montanas, where my very sweet sister in law Lesley gave me a gift card on mothers day! (cuz i do have a baby...in my tommy!) haha

Now it's time for a mid-morning snack!

Have been sitting for an hour writing thank you cards to all the amazing people that have been giving us so many nice wedding and baby gifts!!! Can't belive people are so nice! We're lucky!

Went with Chicky for brunch this morning! we can say i lowered the age average by a few years lol super nice people tho and lots of food! and i'm a big fan of food! haha Brian's at the race track working. BBQ tonight in Port Colborne with family we haven't seen in a while!

Now, back to finishing my thank you cards!

Tonight we're having Chris and Sarah over for dinner! Swedish meatballs on the menu with berry pie for dessert.

The past weeks have been amazing! Seen so many friends, family and great people!
Last saturday i went over to my friend Allison for a little get together with the girls from my old job at starbucks. And i got a super awesome suprise, when they told me it was a baby shower!! weee! so happy! can't thank them enough for all the cute things the baby got!!! Very fun!!
suprising enough on my part...i didn't have my camera with me...so no pics :( i really suck when it comes to taking pictures!

Just found out today about this ash cloud over Iceland. I guess everyone else in the world knew about this? Called Lufthansa and my flight is still on schedule. have to check everyday tho to make sure there's no changes.

Today i went with brian's mom to her work to say hi to all the super nice girls she work with! had lunch and chatted for a bit. passed gramas place on the way home and got two trays of peanut butter cookies! SCORE!

Tomorrow i'm going out with james's mom to the lime ridge mall in hamilton. should be fun!!

have to stop by Once upon a child to get those 10 oncese for $10 too this week! yey!

Kick for dad!

Last night before we fell asleep Brian got to feel the first kick with his hand on my belly! i thought before that it might just be my imagination that i could feel it from the outside but he definitely felt it!!! it makes it way more real for both of us! i think our baby will be either a soccer palyer or a cheerleader or something else where you run around jumping, kicking and doing backflips! :) Cute!

still haven't found a camera cord so the blog is still a bit dull..but i'll keep working on that!

Today my brothers friend Zarah, whos daughter he's good father to, posted on her blog that's she's thinking of selling her Urban Jungle stroller. maybe we can get it from her. yey! that would be nice, that's the stroller i'm looking for. I don't have any plans for today...well i'm probably making cupcakes of muffins. which will be a hit when Brian gets home from work! :)

Oh, and Brian's mom called from work and said one of the girls there brought in a baby swing for our baby. she said they had two for there baby and that we could have the extra one. How nice is that?! can't belive sometimes how thoughtful some people are! it's greatly appreciated!!! thank you sooooo soooo much!

Home maker

We've had the most amazing time ever the last few days! just to be together gives me so much energy! I've been taking alot of pictures at the bbq we had on saturday and other fun things BUT, it seems like my little camera cord is in sweden...damn it! I'm hoping maybe someone here has the same kind as me so i can put some pics up. It's no fun reading a blog without pictures, I know!

Today i drove Brian to work in Hamilton. My very handsome husband wears a shirt and a tie everyday now! mmmmm yum! haha After i droped him of i went to Starbucks to enjoy my very first Chai in like 6 months! oh my lord was it ever nice!!! haha sat there for a bit and read a book and embraced the feeling of not having anything to do all day! (except vacuuming, dishes, walking the dogs and some other little things) all that just so i won't go crazy over not having anything to do haha

When i get a cord for the camera i'll post pictures and write more about the weekend!

Finally i'm here!
We got in from the airport yesterday at about 6pm. That made my trip 18 hours long from door to door..loooooong!!!!

Can't even describe how great if feels to be back with my Brian! We're really gonna make the most of this month now! Brian has to work alot but i don't care haha just to be able to hug him everyday is big! And to cuddle up with him and the tummy infront of the tv at night is better than words can say!

Today is just a hang-out-after-a-long-flight-day. Not doing much. Tried kelly's super amazing vacuum cleaner, The Animal a while ago lol really good on the dog hair haha
Too bad i forgot to ask brian how to work their tv. internet will do for today.

Now, a snack and then maybe a nap haha

aaaah! can't belive i'm leaving for canada tomorrow!!!!  i'm super excited and super nervous that the train is gonna be late tomorrow morning. SJ, the train "company" or whatever it is are not the best on being on time. But there's no earlier train so i'm just gonna have to risk it. hopefully it'll work out! There's no snow and there hasn't been any storms with fallen trees in the last few weeks. so with a little bit of luck i'll get to the airport in time! flight leaves at 10am the train at 6am.
I fly to Copenhagen and from there to Toronto. I'll get in to Toronto at 3 something in the afternoon which is 9pm swedish time. i'll be ready for bed probably but i'll stay up and fight the jetlag!

Now i just have to pack my stuff. Not bringing too much. I can wash my clothes at Kelly's and Brian's granma told me to leave some room for things on the way back! :) so cute!

Have to get a nap in today! I worked last night and i never sleep as good at work as i do at home. This morning was the first time in forever my alarm clock woke me up. So tired!

Now, get something to eat. Hungry as always! haha

Baby appointment!

Had a midwife appointment this morning. Everything's good and the baby's heartbeat is the cutest thing i've heared!! I had a long list with questions that the midwife smalled at haha she was super nice! It was the first time i met her. last time we had another nurse. But Maria is gonna be our midwife for the rest of the pregnancy.

Only three more sleeps untill i go to canada for a visit!!! yeeeey! can't wait!
Feels so amazing to be able to go for dates and do fun stuff with the person i love, like we use to!

Omg it's cold in this house!!! the heat is turned off, that makes it about 14 dergees in here. don't know what to do with myself! too bad i'm not working today!!! wish the summer weather comes back again!

k, i'm gonna run up and down the stairs now to keep warm (not really, but i'm getting extra socks!)

Saturday morning. Slept in!

I'm 23 weeks pregnant today!

I got up this morning and realized it was 9 o'clock! omg, i usualy get up at like 7 cuz i'm a 60 year old soul! But i guess all my "hard work" yesterday made me tired haha i helped out cleaning at my parents new house. I think even as a pregnant person i should be able to do some house work without having to sleep for 11 hours lol Yes, i go to bed at 10! haha

Today- Skype with my beloved husband at noon, pack up a bed and some blankets for tonights sleepover at the new house then some more packing of my stuff. After i leave the 5th of May my parents are gonna install all the new kitchen stuff, new stove, fridge, freezer and dish washer. And when that's done they're moving in. And when i get back the 31st of May the house i grew up in isn't ours anymore :( 
Since i live with them right now i need to get all my stuff to the new place before i leave for Canada!
Oh, and we're slepping over at the house cuz of Valborg. Kind of a spring celebation with a big bonfire in Trogsta. The village they are moving to.

I have a big problem! I lost my sun glasses! (again) I think they might be anywhere in this county..so the likelihood of me getting them back are slim i would say :( But if you have them..GIVE'EM BACK!

Saw bits of the Royal Wedding yesterday! omg, was Kate Middleton ever pretty! If Brian and I get married again (haha) i want a dress like hers!

So today is one of those days when i probably should stay away from all people cuz of my cranky mood! I'm just not feeling it today :/ hormones or whatever it is..it's not fun!
But i went in to town anyways and got some brown cotton stretch fabric for the baby sling i'm gonna make myself! a new one is like 800sek and it's the easiest design ever so why not make it myself, right?! My cousin had the "real deal" so i just copyed her's on a big piece of paper. Have to get the sewing machine from Trogsta back here and start working!

I also figured it was time to do the most boring and depressing thing ever...buy a new bra. maybe some people think this is the most fun ever! NOT when your preggers and your girls just grew two cup sizes in a month! But i got it done and oh well...
don't go to H&M for bras if your girls are bigger, i'm just saying. not a good idea..the staff don't have any knowledge on the subject. Lindex was the place to go today!

Hanging out with Julia later on...we were planing on going for a walk but ice cream infront of the tv sounded so much better haha
